Golf Cart Policies...
When renting a Point Sebago Golf Cart all
guests agree to adhere to the below terms
and conditions at all times. Violation of
any of these policies will result in
immediate confiscation of the golf cart and
no refund.
1. The fee for the rental of the golf cart
will be based on the entire length
of your stay. There is no refund
for carts returned early. Golf cart
availability is limited. A golf cart is only
reserved after it is paid in full and you
receive written confirmation from Point
Sebago.
2. Golf cart may be picked up at 3:00 PM on
your arrival day and must be returned to the
Welcome Center by 11:00 AM on your departure
day. Please do not remove the golf cart
pass.
3. Golf Carts may be rented by the
individual whose name appears on the site or
unit confirmation. This individual must sign
a golf cart rental agreement acknowledging
responsibility for the golf cart and the
following policies:
a. No more than two (2) people on a 2 person
cart and four (4) people on a 4 person cart
are allowed on the golf cart during
operation.
b. Individuals driving the golf cart must be
18 years of age, and have a valid
driver’s license present.
c. The use of a golf cart is a privilege;
please use it for transportation only.
d. The operation of the golf cart may not be
modified or altered.
e. The golf cart will be kept on designated
roadways at all times.
f. The golf cart will be parked in
designated areas only.
g. At no time is the golf cart allowed on
the beach or golf course.
h. The rental golf cart must remain on Point
Sebago Resort property at all times.
i. *Golf carts must be parked at your site
when not in use.
j. Open alcoholic beverages are never
allowed on the golf cart.
4. Violation to any of the above will result
in immediate confiscation of the golf cart.
No warnings will be given and no refunds
will be granted. Safe operation of the Golf
Cart is mandatory. Speeding or reckless
driving is never permitted and is grounds
for immediate revocation of the rental
agreement and loss of the rental fee.
Units 6-16 - Golf carts are not
allowed to be parked at your unit. You must
utilize your unit vehicle parking space for
your golf cart. Your vehicle must be parked
in the back of the Welcome Center.
