Drive for Show Putt for Dough Itinerary

May 7 - 9, 2006 (2007 Itinerary will be similar)

Weekend Itinerary

Friday
Unlimited Golf Day - based upon availability and second round can only be reserved the morning of play.
1pm - Long Drive Competition Qualifying begins
6pm-8pm - Dinner at Lakeview Restaurant - Two members of Point Sebago Golf Professional Staff will attend dinner and will explain all contest rules and review schedule of events.

Saturday
6am-8am - Breakfast at Lakeview Restaurant
9am-2pm - Golf - 18 holes with cart
Optional - Skins & Closest to Pin on all par 3 holes $5pp
2pm - Long Drive Finals
3pm - Chipping Shootout & Putting Challenge Qualifying
4:30pm - Chipping Shootout Finals
4:45pm - Putting Challenge Semi-Finals & Finals
5pm - Final Putt for $5,000
6pm-8pm - Dinner & Awards Ceremony at Lakeview Restaurant - Two members of Point Sebago Golf Professional Staff will conduct the Awards Ceremony and attend dinner with all of the Package Participants.

Sunday
6am-8am - Breakfast at Lakeview Restaurant

Long Drive Competition

Champion – Golf Package Weekend for up to four people at Point Sebago (Accommodations: One Park Home Unit for up to 4 people). The champion will also receive a “I won the Long Drive Competition at Point Sebago Resort” T-shirt.

Runner-up - Wins a dozen Titleist NXT Golf Balls

Chipping Shootout

Champion - Golf Package Weekend for up to four people at Point Sebago (Accommodations: One Park Home Unit for up to 4 people). The Champion will also receive a “I won the Chipping Shootout at Point Sebago Resort” T-shirt.

Runner-up – Wins a Wilson Harmonized 55-degree sand wedge

Putting Challenge For $5,000

The one lucky finalist will have one putt from 50’ away for $5,000. If he or she makes the putt they will win $5,000. The winner will also receive a “I won the $5,000 Putting Challenge at Point Sebago Resort” T-shirt. If he or she misses the putt they will win - a Golf Package Weekend for up to four people at Point Sebago (Accommodations: One Park Home Unit for up to 4 people). They will also receive a “I missed the Putt for $5,000 but I still won at Point Sebago Resort” T-shirt.

Runner-up – Wins a Wilson Deep Red Putter

Competition Formats

Long Drive Competition
Friday afternoon qualifying starts at 1pm on the Driving Range.
Lines will be painted on the range to represent a fairway boundary and yardages will be marked in 50-yard increments.
Each contestant will hit 5 balls counting only the Longest Drive (within fairway boundary).
Top 20 contestants advance to Finals on Saturday afternoon.
Finals will commence immediately after the completion of Saturday morning shotgun.

Chipping Shootout
Saturday afternoon qualifying starts after the Long Drive Finals approximately 3pm.
Each contestant will play 5 holes with one ball.
The holes will have circles painted in 2’ increments each segment of the circles will have a Point Value:

Top 4 contestants & ties will advance to Finals.
Finals will commence immediately after Qualifying Round has been completed.

Putting Challenge For $5,000
Saturday afternoon qualifying starts after the Long Drive Finals approximately 3pm to be held simultaneously with the Chipping Shootout Qualifying Round. Contestants can do one and then move to the next event.
Each contestant will putt 5 balls from 30’ away counting only the closest to the hole.
Top 10 advance to Semi-Finals (1 putt each). To begin immediately after the finals of the Chipping Shootout.
Top 3 advance to Finals (1 putt each).
One lucky finalist gets one putt from 50’ away for $5,000.
