Top 10 Story Ideas
Top 10
Reasons Point Sebago Resort in Maine offers
unique vacations
Below are
several story ideas available to you for
your idea and editorial purposes. Please
feel free to use any of these concepts in
your own articles.
1.
Family Time – Family
Vacations are too harried and crazy these
days but at Point Sebago you will have time
to unwind, relax and reconnect with your
family.
2.
Meet Point Sebago’s cast of characters.
Chippy,
Rocky, Squeaky, Stinky, Mortimer
and his Maine gang know how to have fun and
are guaranteed to entertain all. Chippy &
The Gangs Hotcake Hoopla breakfasts at Point
Sebago are always special, every Friday –
this prime pancake time is affordable and
seating is attainable. Chippy & The Gangs
Welcome Show & Pizza Buffet is another great
venue to meet the gang. Chippy’s Premier
Week, June 15 – 21 is an excellent chance to
meet the entire gang – they may even make a
house call at your Park Home.
3. Getaway
Weekends. Point Sebago is the perfect
destination for your getaway weekend retreat
with special activities and events planned
around the weekend theme. Some of our more
popular Spring and Fall Weekend retreats
include: Quilting, Scrapbooking, Pirates,
Red Sox Yankees Rivalry, Maine Blues
Festival,
Murder Mystery, Oktoberfest, Monte Carlo and
Halloween Family Weekends.
4. Entertain the kids. Point Sebago’s
all-day activities mean the kids are happy
with friends (and therefore happy with Mom &
Dad or is it Mom & Dad are happy?). Best of
all, most of the activities are FREE so
your kids don’t have to be digging in to
your pockets all day.
5. Take your family on a Pirate Cruise, the
Point Sebago Princess Cruise Boat that
is…tour New England’s second largest lake
aboard our 125-passenger open deck boat. But
watch out, you never know when Pirates may
be lurking around the corner ready to board
your vessel! Point Sebago’s wide variety of
activities has also been likened to a Cruise
Ship on land!
6. Be the Captain of your own ship,
rent a boat from Point Sebago’s marina and
take the family on a “three hour tour”
around our 55 square miles of inland
waterways. Or paddle a canoe and search out
loons – one of Maine’s most magnificent
aquatic birds.
7. Take the family camping, without
pitching a tent. You are a hero when you
provide your family with all the fun of a
campground, but no one has to sleep on the
ground. Point Sebago’s comfy and cozy Park
Home and Resort Cottages have mattresses,
microwaves, TV’s and yes – Mom even indoor
plumbing. Can you say, “family time around
the campfire?”
8. Get down and dirty – stage your
own family sand castle competition. Mom,
sand is a natural exfoliate for your skin.
Dad - here is your chance to even out your
lawnmower tan. Kids when is the last time
your parents got sandy with you? Or go to
the arts and crafts pavilion and play with
some “mud.”
9. Take a swing at our sand traps – Point
Sebago’s
18-Hole Championship Golf Course is rated
number one in Southern Maine. Not ready for
the PGA? Point Sebago also has a mini-golf
course on the beach for the future golf
tigers to practice their putts. Plus a
fabulous training center and award-winning
golf instructional programs
10. Meet
by the Lake. Point Sebago’s
facilities are perfect for facilitating your
next corporate retreat or family reunion
getaway!
