The below letter was Emailed to Point Sebago by a 15 year old guest. We felt it was very special and wanted to share it with the rest of our Point Sebago Family.

Dear Point Sebago,

My name is Kimberly... I am 15 years old. My family has been coming to Point Sebago for 33 incredible years. It started with my nana, whom at that time was Janyce Martin... but now is Janyce Harkins. We take up a whole section of Lagoon Way. We have about 12 families of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. that come up to Point Sebago each year.

Some of my closest friends and some of the best memories have all been made in Sebago. Its sorta funny, with all of my friends at Sebago, I can count about 8 websites made about the fun we had this year, and believe me, there will be more to come. I just want to let you know that no matter what, Sebago is a part of our family, and a part of us. You have my business...and when I have children you'll have their business too!

Sadly, yesterday, there was a death in the family. My auntie Judy Raponi, a customer of Sebago since her childhood, was taken from us. During her week at Sebago, she became ill and had to be taken home to the hospital where she died yesterday. It was almost as if she waited until she could see Sebago again. It was the last place she saw, the last place she lived in, and the last place she called home before her death. She was only 45 years old, with 3 young children who still plan to return to Sebago for many years to come.

I'm writing you to say thank you, and to let you know the impact that Point Sebago has had on mine, and my whole family’s lives. I count down the days each year until I can return again. Sometimes I feel as if Sebago is my real home, and I'm just on vacation for 11 1/2 months every year.

Auntie Judy will never be forgotten, I loved her with ALL my heart, and the memory of her sitting on the porch of her site every morning when I woke up, will never go away. Thank you for all the memories and all the enjoyment you have given to us. You do a great job, and we're grateful to have a place like Sebago, and great people like you who keep it running.
